In-app deletion
You can delete your Suroda account in the app by navigating to Settings > Account > Delete Account. The app may ask you to confirm the request and re-authenticate before deletion is started.
Email fallback
You may also request account deletion by emailing hello@suroda.com from the email address associated with your account. We may ask for information needed to verify the request before acting on it.
What is deleted
Verified account deletion removes or de-identifies account identity data and user-controlled media associated with the account, subject to the retention limits below.
What may be retained
Some records may be retained where required for legal holds, open forensic matters, evidence custody, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Payment records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Timing
We process verified deletion requests as promptly as practical. Source-media automated deletion is being implemented with a target of 30 days after upload; until that TTL enforcement is deployed, deletion is handled through verified deletion requests and operational review, subject to legal holds and open matters.
